Just dropping by to say hello and hope you are all doing well..
It is a beautiful day here in Eastern Canada...
Our weather has finally warmed up and it does feel more like Summer..
We are keeping busy and as usual running the roads..
We always say that it is no wonder we do not get enough done..
We may not tour the world but we seem to cover a lot of miles here in our own province..
Thought I would at least catch up with you all..
The above pic is our back yard at the farm a week or so ago..
The apple trees were all in bloom..
The grass is all beautifully green everywhere since the last post..
And the evenings are certainly longer..

The country is sure beautiful on the way to the farm..
We are going back and forth quite a lot lately..
Doing chores and such..
Too early up there to get the garden in but it is ready for this week.
These were our apple trees here at home.
My word but time flies...
I know I mention that a lot.. sorry... 😏
I have so loved having little bouquets from our own yard and not having to pay for them...
Lily of the Valley
White Violets..
Purple Violets..
I picked some Purple Iris for the church this morning and our Lilacs are coming.. They are a different kind but look the same but a few weeks later ..
Then the dear man has so much rhubarb growing...
He takes it to church most services and passes it out from the trunk of the car...😅
I love Rhubarb Pickles..
They are fermented.. The recipe is here on the blog..
Quite sour but so good if that is the kind of pickle you like.
I prefer sour to sweet and of course Terry prefers sweet to sour.. lol..
Saw the recipe for Impossible Rhubarb Pie and made it..
I enjoyed the piece I tried and it was gone the next day..
I gues someone else liked it, too!
I also made the delicious Rhubarb Spoon Cake from Erin French of the Lost Kitchen...
So delicious!
Next time though it will be with genuine whipped cream..
We took a little trip down to St. Martins...
We went to visit our oldest grandson and his wife...
Jared and Ashlee...
They have bought a B&B there...
Fundy Footprints....
We are so happy for them and pray God's blessings upon them in their endeavors...
Jared has always loved St. Martins along with his brothers and cousins.
We so enjoyed having them visit us at the cottage and helping me out in the shop all those summers ago..
Ashlee is a Maine girl so no stranger to the Bay of Fundy..
You do remember the love affair I have with that beautiful bay of water..lol..
Then of course all of my precious cousins who live there..
Jared told me...Grandma.. there are cousins everywhere I go!
How sweet is that!!
A little bouquet of Forget Me Nots
We had this dear couple in for lunch one day..
Mike and Liz who are dear friends and are missionaries to France..
Loved visiting with them..
bless their hearts..

Just a couple of pics from the farm..
Washing up bits and pieces sitting in the pantry..
We haven't stayed there the last several summers but hopefully....
We shall see..
My Aunt Eva's old white lilac tree...
The dear thing picked me a bunch...
Well, lovies this is it for today...
I just wanted to mention my dear Uncle Jack..
A week ago today was his funeral and he was laid to rest in Hillside beside his parents and so many of our family..
He was the sweetest uncle!
Loved him so much and he will be so missed by his precious family..
I will always remember him every spring when the apple trees blossom.
Praying peace and comfort for Aunt Ruth and my cousins...
God bless you all...
Oh and leave me a note.. please..
Hugs from New Brunswick, Canada...
