Your blog is such a beautiful, inspiring place to come and be refreshed...I love the simplicity in each of your lovely pictures, and your words are so descriptive that I feel as if I am truly visiting with you in your sweet home! :)
You have been quite busy preserving I see! Preserving is one of my favourite pastimes, and oh! Isn't decorating each jar delightful...? I especially like how you decorated the jars of violet salve...so pretty!
Hope you are having a wonderful week thus far? How chilly it is here in South Africa today...no rain as yet, but plenty of nippy wind! I must be off, for I have some work in the kitchen to complete...but such tasks never feel like 'work', do they...?
I have been making marmalade lately! Making marmalade from fresh, organic fruit is such a joy - and the oranges we harvested from an old orange tree across the road! The water would soak in and right away we would get a down pour again. We have had to replace about 6 cucumber plants and about 5 tomato plants. It has been dry the last couple of days with sun .....so I hope it keeps growing. Can not wait for the veggies in the garden. Great pic of the sons and daughter.AND your apple blossom jelly will be perfect for the Apple Blossom Cafe. Terry is hunting bear? Has he ever done that before? Are they black bears? Have seen many black bears in the Adirondacks. We are starting to get a few around here in the last few years. We have a turkey in the hedgerow across the road with 4 little babies! So cute. I can not do the outside work like I used to so today we had our granddaughter (Tori) come over and help Jim do some trimming of bushes and she was a great help. Well, nothing much else. I understand how busy you are this time of year. One thing right after another!!!! Take care!

Good luck with the hunt, Terry!
