Good evening everyone..
This is a little view I have in the mornings after my prayer time ...
The old apple orchard out back still does not have any leaves..
This is our Canadian Spring, though..
I like it just the way it has always been.. smile..
It will be hot soon enough..
Then I go over and pour myself a nice hot cup of coffee..
It was such a beautiful morning to wake up to today...
Do you notice anything different? smile..
My sweet husband helped me get the new curtains hung..
Remember, I picked them up at the thrift store last week..
I am thinking that I will need to get some kind of blinds..
A nice change anyway and a frugal one at that..
Here is a pic of a little of our country side for you ..
My husband grew up just a bit past the barn you see there with the silo... 
And do you see the distant hills.. That is where our old farm is ..
We hope to go over for a few days next week..
Lord willing..
I have had the flu this past week and couldn't go..
Next week, though, we hope to go up and I will make dinner and Terry will work on the back porch.. It is still not finished..
All in due time, I guess..
I did get some soap made.. 
Just a small batch of Rosemary ..
I was downstairs in my workshop and found a block of glycerin ...
Here is the recipe I used..
3 cups of shredded glycerin soap base
1/4 cup of distilled water
1 1/2 tsp. rosemary oil
1/2 tsp. lavender oil
1 tsp. pulverized dried rosemary
Mix the glycerin and water in a bowl and heat in microwave at 20 second intervals until melted..
Add oils and herbs and mix..
Place in soap molds..
A double batch made 5 large bars of soap..
Here it is Saturday evening and tomorrow is the Lord's Day AND my mother's birthday..My step fathers was on Monday..
We are planning on taking them to dinner at their favorite restaurant after church.. smile..
