Good Evening my dears..
I was wondering if you would like to come into my pantry with me.. I want to make a little something for Sunday dinner tomorrow..
It is an old recipe that I have made for several years..
We all like it and it makes up very quickly.. That is a good thing, right?
Please come on in...
This is not a very big room but it serves it's purpose..right..
Excuse my shelves.. I organize but then I turn around and they need organized again.. smile.. Oh well..
Now for the recipe..
It is called Impossible Pie..
Perhaps, you have made this before...
In a mixing bowl place these ingredients..
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups of sugar
2 cups of milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup coconut
1/2 stick of butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup self rising flour..
Mix all ingredients and blend well..
Pour into a 9 1/2 inch ungreased pie plate..
Bake at 350 degree oven..
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes..
Let cool well..
See how the crust develops at the bottom..
Such a mystery.. smile..
You can leave out the coconut and just have a custard pie, if you prefer..
