Keepers of the Home for October..

Hello everyone..
Welcome to the Blessed Hearth this evening..
Posting a few pics of our Keepers of the Home meeting that we had on Saturday...
It was a beautiful day with the sun shinning and not too cool..
We gathered together and had breakfast..
A couple of girls brought fresh home made muffins which went very well with our eggs and bacon..
Thank you, dear ladies..

We had a short lesson on the constancy of our Lord..

So thankful that during all the changes in the world
and in our lives that Jesus remains the same..

Malachi 3: 6
For I am the Lord, I do not change..
Write this scripture in your daily journal  or on piece of paper and place it on your fridge..
Just a reminder when you are in an upheaval in your life that He is forever the same..

I love the verse in Psalms 91:14
"Because he loves me," says the LORD, " I will protect him, for he acknowledges my Name..

Everyday, we are reminded that we live in a changing world but we can depend on Him..

Refilling our coffee cups we started on our rug making..

Thank you, dear Paulet for showing us how it is done and being so helpful and patient..

I loved this craft and for once found it quite easy once I changed fabrics for a lighter weight..
There are many YouTube lessons to be found if you are interested in doing one..

Next month, Lord willing we are having an all day meeting..
It will be all about Christmas and making and doing..

Keep tuned.. smile..

Thank you, dear hearts for dropping by and welcome to all the new followers this week..
Take care of yourselves and your sweet families..
God bless..

  1. Thank you, Faye, for the reminders in Scripture that though this world changes, the Lord does not. I love times when I feel like things are hopeless, but truly it is all in God's timing.

Your meeting with breakfast, Scripture & then a craft looks wonderful. I look forward to hearing about your all day gathering. We repeat it every year, but it is hard to believe that another Christmas will be here before we know it. It's a reminder of how time is measured here on Earth & passes so quickly .....but it will be different in Heaven.

  2. I just wrote both scriptures in a prayer journal that a blogger friend sent me. Thanks! I've been in a hard spot last week (shared on my blog) and made it through as I know God was helping me seek the answers and stay sane in moments when I wanted to just cry! So thankful He still for us in this every changing world!
I have a rag rug that I bought in a kit form a few years ago. I never finished it. I guess I should! Oh too many projects and not enough time! Hugs and have a blessed week. Thanks for sharing your keepers of the home meeting event.

  3. Faye, we made rag rugs at our Simple Living Toowoomba group but we made Toothbrush Rugs and didn't crochet them. It was fun. Thanks for the scriptures.
