Fall Farm Day...

Good Evening everyone..
Just a little picture post of a day at the farm..
We so enjoyed the lovely views on the way..
The colors this Fall are awesome !!
The cows were in the pasture with such a lovely background...
Terry had a few things to do so I made us a quick lunch..
One of our favourites..
Spaghetti with Broccoli, Lemon and Mushrooms..
I am sure I have shared the recipe before...
Then I covered some jars of jam and such for a trio of sweet sisters who own the Apple Blossom Cafe in Hillsborough...
We were not too far from their place while at the farm so we went the back way there and and that is where I saw the old house in the last post..
They sell my wares, there.. Bless their hearts..
And they make the best coffee.. smile..

Anyway, dear hearts, thanks for your visit..
We have had quite a week..
Lost two very dear people in our lives..
My cousin and Terry's cousin's wife who was one of my dearest friends..
I will miss her so much..

Then Shonda (the sweet girl) was here and my cupboards are all painted but we still need to shine them up and hang them along with other chores ..
It will be a bit yet before I can show you all..

But I will, Lord willing..

Take care my friends and God bless.. xo

  4. Hello Dear Heart...I will try to be here more again. We took a trip to the Adirondacks for our 50th wedding anniversary ( a gift from the kids). It was delightful, the trees and just Jim and I being together....but on the last day, as I was heading to the Dining Hall, I fell! Now this is the third time in about 4 years I am still recovering. (such black and blue and a very swollen knee this time) but I did not break my glasses and I did not fall down a full set of stairs.) Just tripped over an area rug and went flying across the room.
I love your gorgeous photographs.......such bright and stunning colors. The cattle in the fields are so good to look at. Your jam is looking so yummy. Glad you have a place to sell them. Nothing better than homemade jam. Must move along and get the leg up and hop into bed. I miss you but I think we all have been very busy. Better busy than moping around,Right?

Blessings to my dear friend and husband,

  8. What a treat this post was... all the wonderful fall colors abounding in their glory, oh how I love those fall colors! I'm so sorry that this has been a rough week, losing two family members! Bless your heart. And you are always busy cooking up such yummy things - your spaghetti looks wonderful, with the touch of fresh lemon - yum! And your jams are so special, and what a treat for those who buy them! I can't wait to see the pictures of your cupboards. Oh how I know how much work it is, but you will be so glad to have it done when all the dust is rounded up, and everything back in place! Take care my dear! Have a blessed and wonderful evening :)

  12. Wow the leaves are just Beautiful up there, we have patches of nice down here but because of the lack of rain she says that is why it isn't more wide spread this year.
So very sorry for you losses, so hard when it happens so close together too.
