Hello sweet ladies..
Just a few pics of the olde cottage barn tonight..
I hope you like them..
This used to be my shop but it was very damp for these old bones.. smile..
Peppermint growing in the enamel colander on top there..
I decided to put some lace valances in the windows..
Looks like someone is home.. smile....
Monkshood growing in profusion...
As is everything else...
I kinda like a mish mash of flowers..
I am not a mulch type of person..
Sad, really... grin...
Oh well... my mint is growing, too...
Love old bird houses..
This is a very old wreath..
Perhaps I should replace it...
Yeah... soon...
My dear dad's favorite flowers..
He started them from seeds between wax paper every Spring..
Geraniums... Red ones...
I have some every Summer and remember him...
The wind chime was clanging kinda loud so that I had to pin it back.. smile..
The folks next door may not like it as much as we do..
grin..
The Tidal Watch Inn...
Lovely, eh?
Definitely not just an olde summer cottage... smile..
Last but not least...
We are having our Keepers by the Sea over niter on Friday night...
Yeah.....
This is a pic from last Summer's time...
Are they arriving or leaving??? smile...
We always have a fun time and are expecting some good fellowship together...
How are you all enjoying your Summer?
Thanks for dropping by..
Peace to you all on this lovely Summer's Eve...
Love the old shop too. The "mish mash" is how I like it. The prim decor is nice with the old shop behind. The Inn looks like something out of a movie. Blessings from Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteSuch neat pictures! Makes me want to be there.
ReplyDeleteI have GOT to get down there. I don't mulch either!
ReplyDeleteHello sweet Faye...How are you? I am so impressed with all of your flowers. Ya know, I don't think I have ever seen Monkshood before. It's beautiful! Love the old barn. And it is so nice to see the Tidal Watch Inn that you speak about. Lovely. I wish I could come there and visit you. We could have a cuppa, cuppa...and a good old chat in your garden. My best to you. Love your posts!

Eveything is so pretty, sometime show us the inside of the old barn too. I'm not a mulch person either because surprise flowers can't find a place to set seed. Looks like we are not the only ones that don't mulch. I do use leaves in places. Best wishes today and all days.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks wonderful, Faye! I love all the beautiful splashes of color.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful time Friday night... wish I could be there!

Beautiful. Was that your home. What a grand Victorian. Ours is post victorian but still built stout with oak studs. The drywaller had to use screws to hang it. The nails would just bend in the hard oak wood.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, thanks for sharing.
Faye, Love all the pictures, the flowers are beautiful, certainly a summer cottage garden, but love, love the old cottage barn. That picture of the window should be made into a card. So lovely. Just brings you to the building.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time on Friday evening and enjoy the fellowship.

Monkshood? Just beautiful! Think I'll just bring up a dehumidifier and move in your barn! Love the cottage gardens minus the mulch. The valances make the windows on the barn! Love that inn next door too! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteOh, for a minute I thought that it was Friday... I guess I still have one more sleep left before our keepers night!
