  6. Hi Faye...those are some pretty fierce looking clouds there. But you know, some of our best rides have been during the rain...nothing like trying to climb a steep hill in the woods with pouring rain and I'm about screaming and Jim is acting like what the heck is the matter with her!!!!!

I love seeing the sheep. We raised many sheep on my Dad's farm. The fur on the little ones feels so good to the touch. We had to bring many into our coat room (between the garage and the house) to nuture the babies to life. We had to feed many with a bottle lots of days .Faye, your stories and pictures make me remember days gone by.It's a good feeling! Thank you.

    God loves you.....

  11. Those are great photos of the storm clouds Faye. It looked to be a nasty rainy day but the light coming through those black clouds at the end of the day is beautiful. Sunday here has been beautiful. Blessings, Pam

  12. Hi Faye,
I enjoy receiving your blog notice in my inbox and look forward to reading each new blog you write. I have 'unsubscribed' to most of the many other blogs I was reading, but am definitely keeping 'The Blessed Hearth' blog. Keep up the good work and wishing you many Blessings along the way. I think it's wonderful how you are connecting and mentoring with the young ladies (Keepers of the Home), something that is not as common now, as before........and yet, so important.

ps. I was a little late picking Mayflowers this year, as the rain 'rusted' them before I got to them......one of my all-time favorite flowers. (I did manage to pick a very small bouquet for my daughter's Birthday, and who use to pick them every May for my dear Mom before she passed, several years ago.)
