Each day I find myself snapping a picture or two in the kitchen - a pile of ingredients, a table waiting for us to gather around, a sink full of soapy dishes, a cup of tea, dinner as it comes out of the oven - simple, everyday moments in the kitchen. These photos serve as a reminder of days gone by and as encouragement to carry on in this busy kitchen of ours when inspiration is lacking.

ReplyDeleteI'm coming over and when you are cooking...I am going to sit there like a little mouse and not say a peep......just watch!!!!! These photos of the ham and scalloped potatoes and carrots look so real. Is it your new camera? No, it is just your wonderful cooking! We really do eat our dinners very much like you with healthy foods. But it would be a good excuse to come see you!!!!!!!! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteI know that I shouldn't have favourites Faye, but there is something special about your kitchen. It always seems welcoming and homely. Your food looks wholesome and really tasty. I love the look of those shoots...So fresh. I've haven't used shoots before, except bean-shoots in stir-fry...I must have a go again sometime, and experiment with other varieties. That potato peeler is cute...I've never seen one like that before. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappy cooking.
