Welcome to another Week in my Kitchen BLOGHOP..
where we have a fun chance to peek into other kitchens and glean inspiration...
Each day I find myself snapping a picture or two in the kitchen - a pile of ingredients, a table waiting for us to gather around, a sink full of soapy dishes, a cup of tea, dinner as it comes out of the oven - simple, everyday moments in the kitchen. These photos serve as a reminder of days gone by and as encouragement to carry on in this busy kitchen of ours when inspiration is lacking.
Joining HEATHER at Beauty that Moves again this week for her weekly bloghop..
If you have any questions please leave them in the comment section and I will get back to you..
Take care, dear hearts...
Lemons are a staple in our kitchen. I use them for everything. Looks like there was lots of good food to be had in your kitchen this week.
ReplyDeleteFaye! Can we be friends? {smile} I love everything about your entry today as well as the rest of your blog. Bookmarking for future visiting :-)
ReplyDeleteYummy! Everything looks so good and your header is simply lovely :) Enjoy the remainder of your week!
ReplyDeleteHello Faye...I'm here for my weekly nosy! It all looks good as usual. I'm always scared of cooking scallops but your look scrumptious. The salads look amazing too, especially the fruit salad. I love pomegranates. We have to wait until the autumn to get them over here. Just before Christmas but we get bagfuls of them at a time. I love the sweet/sour flavour.

You make it all look so good!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so enjoyable! Except for the peas, but that's me. Peas and I, we don't like each other a lot :)
ReplyDeleteI love your green glass juicer! My husband's mother was fond of depression glass and spent much of his childhood perusing auctions and flea markets. His favorite color was green so each time she went, she would grab one green piece for him, now we have a huge collection! I will have to see if a juice reamer is among our pieces! Lovely post.

ReplyDeleteEverything looks delicious. How do you make the scallops? Love the header photo. You take such beautiful photos. xo
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara.. I just put butter and a bit of oil in a frying pan and melt it ... Add some minced garlic just until I can smell it.. smile.. Then add the scallops splashing the butter up around them.. Turning them over until they are cooked through .. Take them out and add some lemon juice to make a sauce.... Oh yes and add salt and pepper of course... Sometimes I add fresh parsley,,,xo
DeleteOh those scallops look fantastic! I love any kind of seafood and now you have me craving some. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, as always! We've been eating a bit of salad lately too. Scallops! I love them but hubby does not so I don't usually prepare them... only have them when we go out to dinner.
