Hello dear hearts..
Just a few lovely pics from the internet tonight..
A bit of spring fling perhaps..
I love beautiful pictures, don't you?
And Spring holds so much joy with everything being made new again..
The pic above have such a beautiful blend of shades, don't you think?
And this one...
I had lunch today with some dear old friends and we were saying we should all get a new bonnet..
Not me, though.. grin..
And this one is so inspiring to make ..
Tomorrow, Lord willing, I will give it a try..
My friends and me included are going to strive to do one good thing each day this week..
A healthy choice, something creative, a kind deed or just something lovely but different..
I absolutely love this one..
Rabbits are something I have always enjoyed.
Rabbit ornaments, crafts or real ones.. smile..
This one is adorable!
Perfection! eh?
Love the spring rains..
It beat outside our open bedroom window the last two nights and it was so soothing..
Such beautiful dishes for Spring, I am thinking..
And nothing heralds Spring anymore then a line full of laundry blowing in the breezes..
And the red dogwood...
Another beautiful little craft for the making...
A few dried roses make all the difference!
Very Spring like..
Gorgeous hues of blue..
Rain ... beautiful refreshing rain...
And Spring brings us Easter..
The most precious remembrance to a Christian..
Tomorrow is Good Friday...
The day that made salvation possible for humankind..
When Jesus paid a debt He did not owe..
The old chorus we used to sing goes..
I owed a dept I could not pay
And it was growing every day
But Jesus..
Paid it all for me..
He gave his life on Calvary,
He died for men like you and me,
What a Saviour
I love Him, yes I do!
But He arose...
Thank you, Jesus!
God bless you all this night ..
Have a lovely weekend with your families..
I hope to get back here and post a Saturday night post..
Take care my friends.. xo
He is risen indeed!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post and photos!
ReplyDeleteYES, He is risen!! Praising Him, what a wonderful Savior we have! Love your beautiful post tonight. Hope to see another one on Saturday. It was a beautiful spring day here in Alabama today and so my husband and I got our garden finished. We had started on it last week, but have been busy this week helping some family members get moved into their new house, so good to have it all in. Now we need some of that refreshing rain you showed in your post. :) Hope you will share a picture of the craft you said you were doing tonight. It looks lovely! Have a wonderful evening. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Faye
ReplyDeleteFaye, it is Good Friday here in Australia and for once the shops are closed. When I was growing up absolutely nothing was open on Good Friday as it was a sacred day. I hope you and your family have a happy and blessed Easter as we celebrate the resurrection of our saviour.
ReplyDeleteLovely post!
ReplyDeleteVery soothing on this very long day.
How nice! ❤️❤️
Thank you Faye. As always, your post makes me happy to read.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post...a Happy Easter to you and yours, Faye.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post Faye - the pictures were a beautiful treat...Happy Easter to you and the family, Faye.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Just looked at your recipe for Quinoa Salad from 2012, and there on the side of the page was a sweet bunny wrinkling its nose while the snow was falling!
I do think that this is one of your most beautiful posts. The lovely pictures & the message of our Lord's sacrifice & payment for our sins...His victory over death. Just perfect!

Your blog post looks like a Country Living magazine I used to subscribe to. I saw one yesterday and it looked so different. Found one from England but it was too expensive to buy but purused it for fun. We went to Good Friday service then tomorrow will be Easter where we will put flowers in a cross that has chicken wire on it. We've done it some years ago and it's back again. So pretty....even though death on the cross was so horrible. But Jesus died for all of ours sins and now we are His children. Hallelujah, He is Risen! Indeed! Have a blessed Easter, Faye.
