A Rainy Morning and the shop is opened...

Happy Saturday Morning everyone..
A very rainy one here in St. Martins today..

Very rainy as you can see..
Love a rainy day.... smile...

Kind of glad as it means I can dally around before I go over to the shop..
We did finally get it opened..

I have not any set hours yet as we need to go home and bring down more things.. We meant to only be here for a few days which turned into over a week.. smile..
So... we will be open this afternoon and then not until Wednesday...

Just sharing a few pics with you...

I am sorry I have not been blogging very much..
Things will get back to normal soon..

Now that the shop is open I can concentrate into getting the cottage in shape..

We have enjoyed a few visitors already..
So the computer has taken a back seat..

I will try and get back soon..
I hope to post a give away that I am planning on here really soon..

Take care my friends..
Love and Prayers..
Faye..

  6. Thanks for sharing the pictures of the shop. I am glad you have everything ready to open. Seeing the pictures is almost as good as getting to see it in person. I think I could spend hours looking at all your stuff. Enjoy your day and God bless.

  7. Your shoppe looks so inviting. I'd be there in a heartbeat if I wasn't way so far away! Sigh! Will send you a photo of my brown transfer ware bowl. We had rain yesterday and coolness and some today although the sun is shining at the moment. It's supposed to be showers now and then. Take care and just blog when you can. God Bless you real good!

  9. I agree with Grandma Becky on her comment - I too would be there in a heartbeat if I lived closer. Also here in Iowa we could use some of that wonderful rain! They say we might get some later, time will tell.
    Yes - GOD BLESS YOU!!!

  10. What a sweet vintage hideaway! How lovely, to have your own shop on your own terms, Faye. It looks to be full of appealing gifts!
i hope the rain didn't chase away your customers!...But its still fairly early in the season, a gradual start might not be a bad thing :)
    God bless,

  11. The shop looks lovely, I wish I was closer :(.

Not to humid here at The Stone house today, in fact the weather is perfectly pleasant as I sit here on the deck typing and watching Jene and the boys fish before we start some work next door.

I love the way it smells after a rain :)

  13. Hi Faye!
    Rain sounds heavenly to me!!
We are having such a dry year, and there are so many wild fires in the state.

So lovely that your shop is open now.
I spy a wonderful swan in the window!
If I lived closer.. I would likely snatch that up for myself :)

    Enjoy this weekend!!

    Smiles :)

  19. Oh I love a rainy day too Faye. And we could really use a steady long rain on our garden. It's been awhile. Your shop is looking great. So wish I could stop by for a visit. Take care and enjoy your summer at the cottage.

  20. Hi Faye,
Oh your shop is such a delight! You have it stocked quite well I'd say - how fun will it be for your customers to walk through the door and see all you have prepared for them this year.

Goodness we need rain - so hopefully we will get some soon. Temps in the 90+ and no rain is so not good.

    Blessings,
    Karen

  22. Faye, found your blog sometime ago and look forward to reading each week; I fully intend to get to your shop over the summer (I'm in Fredericton); have relatives in SJ so definitely will be checking with you beforehand on your hours/days open. We have a wedding coming up in two weeks so will be a few weeks yet. I so enjoy your blog and your lovely pictures! Looking forward to meeting you. Cheryl

  23. With havin so much content and articles do you ever
    run into
any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My blog has a lot of completely unique content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is
popping it up all over the web without my
permission. Do you know any ways to help prevent content from being ripped off? I'd truly appreciate it.
