Good Evening everyone..
Such a beautiful day here in New Brunswick..
The maple leaves matured so much just in the week that I was away..
Terry went cutting wood today with his buddy so I sorted through my purchases..
Bought myself another prim doll...
Gotta love her..
A lot of ladies do not like prim but I do... smile..
She came from my fave shop... Potters Hill in New York state..
We did find one flee market and found these..
Vintage tablecloth, doilies and a lovely 60 inch vintage lace curtain.. Perfect for doll dresses and such..
A few boxes that were packed so well...
I can only give you a glimpse until they get unpacked at the shop..
Anyway...
There was a lot to do ...
See my lovage plants that Terry picked up for me..
I ordered them from the Co op and he picked them up while I was away...
I want to plant one more here, one at the cottage and one at the farm..
It is such a useful herb that I want it where ever I may be.. smile..
A perfectly beautiful day to hang out lines of laundry..
A fair breeze and they dried quickly...
My Mom told me that she and my step father had found 12 of his white handkerchiefs that were missing in old pants pockets yesterday..
So .. today she whitened them and hung them on the line..
She said she could watch them blow all day long.. grin..
That must be where I got that... hmmmm...
All the bushes are in bloom...
A snowball bush..
And higher above it a late blooming lilac..
A deep purple one..
Lots of forget me nots..
Blue ones....
Sammi was glad to have me back.. smile..
He follows me everywhere...
How was your day, my friends?
Just a catch up one for me..
Making supper for Terry and going to bed early...
So thankful just to be home..
I expect to go to the cottage over the weekend...
By the way...
I guess my music is off of my blog now..
Only you girls from the U. S. could hear it as we Canadians could not.. Play list has taken it off altogether now..
Sorry about that.. I will try and get something else..
For tonight though I am including this song..
Hope you enjoy...
God bless until next time..
Sending you all a hug...
Oh Mrs Faye...

Hello dear Miss Faye, Your forget-me-nots are so sweet .....such a wonderful little flower! I know you use lovage a lot with your cooking and recipes. Maybe I should get some of that and plant it, too. Your prim dolly is so cute! She is my kind of doll. What is her name?
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day tomorrow!

I love old tablecloths. I sometimes us them on the table. Almost bought one a few months ago at a thrift shop but couldn't make up my mind soon enough b4 store closed for the day. Sigh! Glad today was last day of work this week for me. I am tired...had stomach bug I think for a few days and just not enough sleep made me tired at work. Now it's resting on the recliner for a bit with lap top. Am going to go thru photos I took at girlfriend's bday party a few weeks ago and get some printed out for her. We are going over there for her daughter's high school graduation on Sun. afternoon so will give them to her then to put in album I gave her at the her party. I blogged about it just this past week. It's always nice to be home from a trip and go through things bought. Glad you had a good time! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHello Faye, came across your blog and enjoyed it very much. Love the prim doll, not many people into primitive here either, but I love it. ReplyDeletePoor little Sammi~ I'll bet he thought you had left for good, Faye! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are enjoying being home.... funny how you miss the little things while you're away, isn't it?
By the way~ I love the little doll... her hair reminds me of mine... *grin*
I can almost hear you purring with contentment being back at home, sweet home!
ReplyDeleteAnd it truly looks beautiful!
I love your new doll and can't wait to see what else is in that box!
Best wishes
Christine
hi Faye,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are back. I am really missing you. I will have to come down to St. Martins to visit soon. Love Ya, Char
Your pictures are so pretty. I love the snowball bush with the lilac above it. So pretty. I love watching clothes blow in the breeze on the line. To me, it says home. Enjoy your day and God bless.
ReplyDeleteIt must be beautiful where you are! That snowball bush, I never seen one of them before. Is that "Amish Wagon" yours?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and that snowball bush is gorgeous. Mine isn't as nearly as big and nice as yours. Someday I hope. LOVE your new Prim Doll. So Sweet! Oh how I Love hanging laundry on the clothes line. There is nothing like the fresh smell of the outdoors. I finally made my self a little clothes pin bag out of a dress that I picked up at a thrift store. After seeing the one you made, I was inspired to make my own. Enjoy your evening.
