Blogging Love...

Good Evening, my dears..
Thanks so much for dropping by the Blessed Hearth...

I want to tell you one of the reasons why I do this..
Blogging, I mean..
There are several but for tonight I want to share this one..

And that is the sweet friendships that are made..
Not in a chat room, mind you but just here talking about everyday things and of our love for the Lord..

When I began blogging a couple of years ago I had no idea that I would make friends that would become so dear to me..

I have only met them on the internet and not in person..

We just started out by happening to find each other's blogs, leaving comments and it went on from there..
Now there are emails, letters coming in the mail and even parcels and telephone calls..
We even celebrate holidays together even though we are not actually together in person.. smile..

One of the times can be found HERE..

They celebrated with us and even sat a place at their table with our names on the place card..
Isn't that sweet?
I wanted to link to it but Lori had a bit of trouble with her blog and all of her previous posts are gone so she had to start over again..

Anyway..
Terry and I both think that these folks are special...

Tonight as I scrolled down my blog list I noticed that the Mayo family had posted so I went over to visit..

This is what I found THERE..
Please follow their link and join them in their tea party..

They are all so dear...
They love the Lord Jesus as we do and we share that along with the joy of home and family..

I know blogging is not for everyone but I so enjoy  doing it although at times I might feel like I am writing to myself.  I start whining and you lovely girls rally round and leave me wonderful comments and I know that this is a worthwhile thing for me to do..

You are all amazing and I am so thankful for you all..
May God bless and keep you in His care..

  2. Hello Faye !
I never dreamed that blogging would be so wonderful and filled with such lovely friendships . To be able to share others hopes, dreams and lives is amazing and to also know we aren't in this world alone at times and the support, fun , laughs, and ups and downs we all share with one another is incredible ! I feel blessed to have my world filled with such wonderful friends like you ! Lovely post and photos . Have a good day !

  5. Oh Faye, I feel so blessed to say I have known you for quite a few years. No, I do not have a blog. Sometimes I feel so guilty and wish that I did. But even so, I have come to know you as a wonderful, happy woman who loves her Lord. I enjoy your blogs when you do post about your blessings and what we might want to believe or the way you set examples for all of us to see and hear and perhaps live our lives with the faith that you have. My children are grown and my grandchildren are playing sports now and Grandma and Grandpa don't seem to see the darlings as often as we would like. So, therefore, I turn to the blogs I am interested in and become friends with people I may never meet in person. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for teaching me so many interesting things.....and for praying for all of us.

I pray this is a wonderful peace for you and your entire family!

  9. Faye,
I am always so inspired by your posts and was again today with this one, thank you.

I thought about what you said about everyone rallying around when we need it and you are so right. My hubby doesn't get the blogging and asks how can you refer to "them" as friends, you have never even met them? It's the same as my friends that I have not seen in years but still email and text back and forth with them. Your blog friends can't judge you on your size and shape, your home (you only show the clean parts right LOL?!), or the car you drive if you don't choose to share those things...anyway, you get my point :)

Thank you for being you Faye.

  12. I have met so many nice wonderful people blogging. I must confess I fell off the blogging grid for a while. Hubby was sick and then blogger gave me fits. But I am back and looking to establish some of those blogging friendships again. I always enjoyed visiting you.

  14. What a sweet post! I have also made many blogging friends over the years ( on forums too). And even though I have only met a few of them in person, all of them are just as dear to me.
I believe the Lord puts certain people in our lives for a reason. Don't you?

  19. My thoughts exactly...the best part of discovering the internet has been the friendships I have made through my blog...it still amazes me.....blessings dear friend and sister in Christ.

  20. The reasons that you cite are the reasons that I love blogging, too. It has been wonderful to meet you via our blogs and to build a friendship. By the way, my hubby was just voted in as Pastor at a local church, it's about 10 minutes from our home. God is good and I am very grateful for all of the friendships that I have made through blogging.

  21. Good morning...I found you through Bevvy's Treasured Up and Pondered blog this morning. Such a joy to be able to meet you. You are a gracious hostess! I, too, have known the joy of making new friendships as a result of blogging. It is a wonderful life...this purpose that the Lord has for us as we share His love, each in our own spaces in our own ways of caring for our family to His glory. I am now following you and will look forward to returning!
