A Weekend Breakfast..

Hello everybody..
Another snowy day here in New Brunswick..
How are you all doing?..

I thought I would post this little recipe for your weekend breakfasts.

Herb and Garlic Spread..
1 x 8 ounce package of cream cheese...
3 green onions, minced..
1 clove of garlic, minced..
2 T. chopped fresh herbs such as chives, parsley or such
Cream together very well..
Store in a small crock in your fridge..
It will keep for several days...

Spread over a toasted bagel and have a nice glass of juice and a hot cuppa..
Mmmmm...
Thank you, Lord..

Now what are we going to do with the rest of our day?

Thanks for your lovely visit and sweet comments..

  1. This looks so good. Much more economical to make flavored cream cheese at home. Now I want, this in the a.m. xo

  4. What time do ya want me there, Faye? Do you have some warm winterings I can borrow? You'll have to crank up the heater 'cause this island girl's not used to your Canadian temps. However, I can used to your yummy breakfast, dear.

    Happy highways,
    Kelley~

  5. Yummo...

Now if only I had the ingredients on hand, the bagels, or the time to make my own bagels. Have you ever tried that, Faye? I want to do that so badly - but have never taken the time to set out to do it - nor found a recipe that I'm settled on..

  6. Hi Bevy.. I would like to try to make bagels, too, but never have.. Terry loves them but I try to discourage him from buying them as they have so much bread content.. smile.. But he does once in a while anyway.. xo

  15. When we have bagels it is a treat. It's not just the bread but I have to be careful of the salt....... We do love them and I am going to make your recipe. Jim would love it and me, too. (I'm still around, Faye, ...just had a lot to do lately. I think I might be feeling a tad better so I am getting some things done and also doing some fun stuff, too) Awfully cold here tonight and the wind is bad. Minus 1 right now and suppose to get colder than that tomorrow. All the schools are closed.

    Talk to you soon,
    Love ya,
    S.
