Monday Morning Inspiration ....

Good Monday Morning dear hearts..
Here I am once again with some lovely images from the web..

Quite a few of you were so kind to let me know you enjoyed this type of post..
The last one was of projects and the first was just a few images like this..
If you continue to enjoy these Monday morning posts I will try to do different ones.. projects, recipes, etc..

Here is the link for the delicious looking bars in the first pic..

I have posted one of these images before just because I love it..
I wonder if any of you who have been aboard for a while will recognise which one it is.. grin..

We are completely moved home now..
Yesterday I was so happy to get the cold room cleaned..
It is a job that has been bothering my subconscious for a couple of weeks now.. if you know what I mean..
Anyway, I had some lovely helpers..
They carried up the ones that needed to be discarded and did that chore for me..
Then all the bottles were washed and returned to the basement..
Now all we have to do is go to the farm and get the pickles and canned goods and it will be all she wrote...
Until next year, Lord willing..

I must say that I am so glad to be home..
So many things to enjoy and appreciate once again..
My bed...
I know that I always mention that old water bed but I do really love the thing.. smile..
And the bedroom window that almost goes to the floor and stays open all Winter long.. Really!!
Then everything on one level...
And the washer and dryer...
Although, next summer when and if we go to the farm again we have a new purchase that is wonderful..
Well, actually we traded an old wood washer from our shop for this one..
A vintage electric wringer washer with a copper tub that sits on the deck and you just use a hose for the water and do your washing right there..
Hang them on the line and ta da.. Done!!
But that is just for summer..

Anyway, my friends you are getting the jist of the story.

Hope your week goes wonderfully for you..

I will pray for you and you pray for me..
Ok?
We have a prayer answering God and I am learning more each day to put my trust in Him.. or not.. Right?
You either trust Him or you don't..
I choose to trust Him..

Looking forward to reading your sweet notes...
God bless..
xo

  2. Good Monday morning Faye! The sun is shining brightly and the frost is sparkling on this cold morning. I enjoyed these images you shared today. They all look so cosy and inviting. I'm glad you are settled back in at home for the winter months. I think I'll be putting up some Christmas decorations today but the tree won't be put up until the first of December. I like to enjoy them over the next weeks, especially the lights. When do you decorate for Christmas? Have a blessed week. Hugs. Pam

I may try to set out a few decorations this week but my tree won't go up yet. I'm with you Faye, I choose to have faith in and trust our Lord. Have a good week and I look forward to your next post as always. (Cheryl in Fton)

  9. I enjoyed your post, Faye, and I'm not sure which picture you have used before but I know you enjoy sleeping at night with rain and the window open. I thought that picture might be the one. Maybe not. I loved the heading picture you used before of the fireplace with nice warm fire going. It always looked so inviting. Glad to know you are home and you are right, we always love to get back to our own beds. The picture I liked the most was the old pot with cherries sitting on an old weather worn bench. I trusted in Jesus when I was a teenager. Was saved and baptized and have learned over the many, many years of marriage and raising a family that you can absolutely trust the Lord.

  10. Faye, we had a copper tub when I was growing up. That brings back memories. I can't imagine how you could have the window open all winter if it is snowing but I know you have heated houses over there in Canada so perhaps that makes it bearable. Lovely post as usual.

  11. I enjoy your Monday posts. Looks so cozy too. Glad you're all moved back home. I need to keep up with my place. Too much stuff to put away. I work every day and sometimes I'd rather be messy. Sigh! Prayers answered that my daughter finally got another job. She starts this Thursday at Subway. It's been hard finding work. Praying for a full time job for her. God knows our needs. I hope you pop over to my blog once in awhile too. Have a blessed week! Hugs!
