Just a bit of rural for you....

Hello my dears..

A little different post for you tonight.. smile..
Just a few pics of some friends that we saw yesterday...

This crowd is usually standing beside the road on our way to church most Sundays..
Aren't they lovely?

This is a common sight that you can see on our rural roads here in the province of New Brunswick..
And of course the scenery is beautiful, too ..
Don't you think?

A little reminder that we are having our Keepers of the Home meeting on Saturday at 9 am in the Fellowship Hall at our church in Sussex...
We will be making bread, some homemade toiletries and I will be bringing some old books and the punch that I used to make the table runner in my last post...
If you live in the area please feel free to come..
We would love to have you..
Just email me at
 and let me know..

It was so nice chatting with you tonight..
Take care dear ladies and God bless...
Love to you all..

I sure wish that I lived closer! I would love to be part of your Keepers at Home:) You are a blessing Faye!

  3. Hi Faye, I can't wait for Saturday! My sister is jealous...she wanted to get a chance to come to keepers while she is home but (she'll have to miss it by a couple of weeks). It's always such a great time!

    1. Wow!!!!!! That is some nice looking cattle. Faye? Don't you think Terry needs one of them?

Ps - Wish I could come to the Keepers meeting.

  5. We will be introduced to your province this year with our Rod and Staff history and geography lessons for second grade. The cows are lovely indeed. *smile* I hope your keepers of the home gathering goes well. Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings & so much more!

  6. I do love cows. I've been know to take a few photos of them before. These are great photos and I noticed the beautiful scenery in the background too. I think you might be in for a storm tonight. It's snowing here. Stay cozy. Blessings, Pamela

  7. Wonderful friends, blessing on your meeting!

  8. The cows crack me up. They look as if they are wondering who the heck you are and what the heck you are doing. The scenery is so awesome. Love all the pictures.

  9. I really enjoyed these pictures, Faye~ they looked like they were as fascinated by you as you were them! I love the black one, it's hair looks like mine in the mornings. :)
It is very beautiful there... you still have quite a bit of snow, I see. Wish I could be there for the meeting...

  10. I love cattle. When my family first moved to Canada in 1967, we rented a house on a dry cow farm. We learned so much about the habits of cattle, very fun.
Have a wonderful day tomorrow, my friend.
    Hugs, Cindy

  11. Me again, I just remembered something as I published my comment. I loved to sit on the fence next to the field where they were and sing and when I did, the cattle would come to the fence and stand around listening. They must have liked gospel music!;)

  12. Thank you for the beautiful photos, Faye. Look at how cute they are, looking at you and the camera! Have a great meeting.

  13. Hi there,

Don't you just love the country?

Mel and I took a little drive out in horse and cow land today. Loved it.

Wish I could come to you meeting Saturday.

Take care my dear friend. Janet W

  14. Oh Faye, you make me want to emigrate just to join in your meetings. You know, I should see of our church can start something similar, it would be such a blessing!
