A Sweet Treat from Mom.....

Good Morning all....
What a beautfiul morning it has began here today.  The sun is shining and the birds are singing..
We have had a lot of cold and damp weather but I am  not complaining.  It is not Winter and it is not hot Summer so I am very contented with it all. smile..
Anyway... a very short post this morning.
This weekend while I was at the Keepers meeting our youngest son and his friends came out here to the house and they and Terry all went for a little spin..
I knew they were coming and thought I should make  these..

Chocolate Chip Cookies according to Faye...smile
1 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Cream really well and add
3 cups flour sifted with
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon (secret ingredient)
Mix well and add 1 package of chocolate chips.( 1 1/2 cups)
Stir well and roll into balls..
Place on lightly buttered cookie tin and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes...
Dustin loves these as does his father... smile..

You know what they say about boys and men?  The only difference between them are the size of their toys... grin...
I am so happy that they enjoy each other's company and have been blessed to do this...
I know that Dustin has no one to bake for him except me so I made sure this little box was ready for him to take home..
2 dozen cookies..
Like he says they won't last long... smile..
What are moms for, eh?

I hope you have a blessed day..
I am meeting a sweet lady for lunch today and we are doing a little Bible Study together...
It is called ..
INTO HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT...
Just a little one hour or so one..
Tomorrow we head to the cottage for the weekend...

Thanks so much for your company and for taking your time to
leave a comment... I so enjoy them..
Love to you all..
