Keepers of the Home Mothers Day Breakfast....

Good Afternoon to you all...

Just wanted to share a few pics of our Keepers Breakfast..
So much fun...
What a lovely bunch of ladies and wee girls...

Last night some of the Keepers joined Terry and I in setting up the tables, making centrepieces, favors and such...

We made some pansy pots...

big ones and little ones...

I finished the little sewing pin keeps ...

We drew names for them and the big pansy pots as door prizes..

We also put up a banner...

And made favors... I forgot to take a pic...
But they were all different kinds of tea in a decorated bag...

We were so blessed to have 3 guys cook breakfast for us...
It was delicious... smile..

Also, some dear mamas brought muffins, rice pudding, biscuits and homemade bread and jams...

The men cooked us eggs, bacon and toast, too..

A dear brother in the church brought us some pies...
Folks are so kind...

Thank you, Lord for all the lovely food and precious friends...

And here we are...

Buffet style..

See the dear thing serving.. smile...

Lots of Mamas...

These pics are not great... Sorry.

Dear wee girls everywhere... smile..
Bigger girls, too...

Speaking of pretty girls... smile..

So many little girls checking out the auction finds.... smile..

Our wonderful auctioneer and her helper..
Oh my.. It was hilarious...

This was supposed to be a penny auction..
Let's just say that there was some difficulty to be had when the pennies turned into dollars.. grin..
Good job, Lins.... smile...

The little girls had as much fun bidding as their mothers..
Grin...

Here are two of my favorite ladies..

My dear mother and daughter...
As I was saying these pics are not great...

Shonda has the most wonderful hair and does it so lovely..

I think so anyway..
Beautiful even with the poor quality picture...

Since this is my blog perhaps  I can be prejudiced...
smile....

Anyway... my dears..
God is good and we are so thankful for our dear Moms and sweet daughters...
Such blessings in our lives..

And so thankful to the dear men who did this for us ...

Hope you are all having a great weekend..
Thank you for your sweet visits and notes..

Next month we will be back on tract as far as the Keepers Journal and Homework goes.. OK?

Sending you all hugs...

  4. Made the rounds of a quick stop at a baby shower to drop off a present. Lots of little kiddos running around. My daughter caught one as he tried to escape through the front door and I stopped another who opened the door. So fun to bless a dear sister in Christ on her 3rd baby boy...oh my. Then off to another party to buy Thirty-One products, a Christian based company, again with daughter. Stopped by a friends house on the way since D. was out working on his truck. His wife came out as we were about to go in and get a hug from her. They are moving to Missouri end of the week for ministry work. Will miss them...insert tear here! Praising God for dear friends in the Lord. We know that if we don't meet up again on this earth, we will meet again in heaven. Anyway, ate a bit while out but not alot. Now I need to make pizza for dinner. Baked earlier today as well. Sigh! Have a blessed weekend, my friend.

  5. Looks as if you all had a lovely time. This brought back memories of the many wonderful mother/daughter banquets, and luncheons that I went to with my Mom and Grandma. If I could live just one of them again ...I would be so happy. Well, someday...again...we will meet and have a banquet of our own. Wasn't that nice of Terry and the other men to prepare the food for the women. Nice guys! This must have been a very special time for all.

  10. How wonderful to have your sweet Mum and daughter with you, together with all the others. Very special. I miss my daughter a lot but will see her at the weekend next. She is on a nursing placement at the moment, in Endoscopy (brave girl!)
I spotted your Shonda's beautiful hair in the photo even before you had mentioned it... it looks so pretty, soft and natural.
    Blessings to you all,
    xxx Hazelnut
