Lovely photos . WOW ! A busy bee you have been ! Have a great evening !
ReplyDeleteThat pudding looks luscious!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos as always, I hope you have a great time in Lancaster County. I live about three hours away. xo
ReplyDeleteYou had a busy day! I think some shops are closed on Sunday in Amish country but that may have changed as it's been a few years since we were through there. I was disappointed as we were just passing through and didn't have time to stay. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteHi there, Dear Heart,
ReplyDeleteYour rice pudding reminds me of my mother-in-law. She was a great cook....... she owned a small restaurant here in town. Everytime I got sick or down or when my mother and father passed away....she would make me her special rice pudding.Oh, it was so yummy. Isn't that a picture in St. Martens when the tide is out? Great pics, Faye.
I know you are going to like Lancanster. Wait until you travel out where the farms are and see all the Amish in their buggies. Fun!
Hi Faye
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Lilac jelly. If it taste as good as they smell it must be wonderful. I will have to make some. I hope you enjoy your trip and take lots of pictures for us to see.
Janice
Well now Faye, you have been a busy lady. I need some of your energy. Have a wonderful weekend and take yourself a little rest.
ReplyDeleteAngela
Lovely photos, you are very inspiring to me with all you accomplish!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful trip.
I need to write down the recipes for some of the jellies you make, they are so unique and would make lovely gifts! I did purchase oodles of black and blueberries because they were so inexpensive at the store the other day to make jams with...now I only need the time to do it!
ReplyDeleteFaye, have you ever made cheese? I am hoping to get a post up very soon about making mozzarella cheese...wonderful stuff :)
Kendra
I'm getting hungry reading this post Faye, and I'll bet those flowers smell just wonderful! Have a lovely weekend! xx
ReplyDeleteHELLO LADY...more gorgeous pictures.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever thought to add PHOTOGRAPHY to your growing list of wonderful talents?
You really should publish a book...well, if not that extreme you should do a photo book from one of the places like Snapfish or Walgreens or something like that. They are fun to do and very reasonable and you'd have a beautiful memory book.
Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend.
Karen
Wow! I want to follow you around for a week. Gorgeous photos. I agree with the above comment. You should be a professional photographer!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. The lilac is lovely. Our lilac bush did not have very many bloom on it this year. I think it might need to be trimmed back. Enjoy your day and God bless.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Faye!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. As always, you are busy as a bee!
I love, love, love that second picture~~ the one with the boats.
Have a safe and wonderful weekend.
{{hugs}}

Busy, busy, busy! I've had violet jelly but I bet the lavendar jelly would be wonderful too. The photo of the boats must have been at a really low tide. Hope you and Terry have a great and blessed weekend. We'll be cooking lunch for family on Monday and hope to spend some time with my busy daughter this afternoon. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLilac jelly? Didn't know you could do that. A few years ago we found lavender tea and cookies with lavender in them and so good. Realized there's culinary lavender. My lilacs are done now. My roses are blooming and rhodendron is mid way. Took photos of them and so enjoy the color! I enjoy your photos as always. Have a good weekend. Here in the US it's Memorial Day weekend.
ReplyDeleteDear Faye Henry...just a question for you...WHERE IS MY RICE PUDDING? (and since you are going away, does that mean that there will not be keepers on June 2...)...well I guess that that was 2 questions, but who's counting?! LOL
