Those July Days......

Good afternoon everyone..
Just a little posting for you today to welcome in the month of  August although it is already a week along...
July was a very hot month here or  few weeks of it for sure.. I thought so anyway...

I have posted just a few pics of of coming and goings..
Terry picked me some beautiful Queen Anne's Lace flowers and I did get one batch of jelly done..
I love making it and it turned out well...
I just keep giving it away so another batch will be made this week, I am hoping..

I enjoyed some of the wild sunflowers which I call them ...
He didn't fall in the ditch this time thank heavens!๐Ÿ˜
Not funny really.... He did that last year and scared the pudding out of me.. The ditch was so deep I could only see the top of his head but the dear thing hauled himself up out there like a pro..
They would have had to call the crane to get me out then the ambulance, no doubt...๐Ÿ˜€

Anyway...
We had a few country drives...
Lots of lovely cows all around our area...
And then we had another Bay of Fundy with our eldest grandson and grand daughter in law and her parents..
Visited a wonderful Farmer's Market...
And we were treated to a delicious seafood dinner...
So much fun...
Summer days!

Visited a sweet friend at her farm..
Lots of wonderful animals, geese and such..
My fave are the sheep and the geese although she has much more..
The sheep was milked while we were there!  Pretty awesome!

There was a rainy day which was cooler and I made a couple of loaves of bread..
A Barbque steak dinner and of course.... popsicles...
Strawberry... so yummy...
I just google popsicle recipes and try them out..

Terry picked a flat of strawberries and I ended up freezing them as it was just too hot to make jam.. Will choose a cooler day in the fall...perhaps or winter..

We have the job this week of cleaning out our cold room... ugh!!
But it has to be done..
He is out at the farm picking beans today so they will need to be canned..
We have had hodgepodge a few times now..

There are just a few pics of some corners of the old farmhouse....
The cows and the cucumber bed..
He says when he gets done gardening we will do some chores there for the house... painting outside and such... I hope anyway...
But you can do only what you can do..
And enjoy!
Right?

Well, dear hearts this is short and sweet I hope..

Been very busy so far this month...
Canned some peaches and making wild flower jellies...
Made a few lavender sachets from the lavender harvest..
Oh and had a trip across the border to a store that sells wonderful fabrics..
Mardens, of course..
Had some company for supper..
So.. will catch up on that stuff later..

Take care of yourselves and your sweet families..
God has been so good!  eh?

Thank you for dropping by and your sweet notes..
Although, I didn't get back to you I have read each and everyone and loved them in my heart...

Till next time....

Trust Jesus!
